Concerto for Horn
Commissioned in 2006 by BASBWE. A three movement concerto for French horn and wind section: the accompaniment is for the same forces as a Tchaikovsky symphony; no doublings or exotica such as saxophones or euphoniums. It's concise - 15 minutes - and generally lighter in character than most of the pieces listed here
